Media Center Edition and AV Links
This is not a comprehensive list of links, simply ones that I find useful. I have also included some Audio-Visual links, since activity within these is often relevant to MCE such as connection of PC and LCD or Plasma TV's. - Chris Lanier's Blog I'm not sure how Chris fits in with MCE development, but this link is a must for a close connection with Microsoft, what's happening and with someone who clearly uses MCE a lot.
- http://www.iandixon.co.uk/ian/ and http://spaces.msn.com/members/iandixon/ Ian has a nice UK-related mix of PodCast (mp3 files) and MCE comments together with links to others.
- Michael Swanson's Blog Michael is an acknowledged expert with Media Center Edition and has an excellent page here with other valuable links.
- Podcast network - mediacenter Now this is really excellent. Listen in real-time to 1 hour shows each month with high-profile personalities commenting on info from deep within Microsoft, or copy the files to your MP3 player and make up that time in the garden that MCE has stolen from you!
- Microsoft's MCE conference Need I say more?
- http://www.xpmce.com/forum/ A global MCE forum bank with a very active UK forum.
- The Green Button community Many MCE links and discussions abound.
- AV forums A UK site that is very active with a wide range of audio and video topics. In my opinion the experts tend to lie low until someone asks a sensible question but that's understandable given some of the posts.
- AV reviews This is very useful, containing reprint documents of many magazine reviews of the entire AV range.

- http://www.digitalhomemag.com/ The Digital Home magazine online. A nice set of AV articles and reviews.
- http://www.cbuenger.com/index.php Christoph has several interesting MCE plug-ins for Skype, Ebay and local weather.
